Google AdSense is an excellent way to generate income from your insurance blog. There are those who make excellent incomes from this program, but they have many web sites and blogs displaying the ads. You should not be concerned with Adsense until you have at least 2 posts in each of 4 categories. Working with AdSense is not that complicated, but there is a “process”.

Insurance Blogging With Google AdSense

The first step in displaying AdSense ads on your insurance blog is to set up your account with Google. You can do that here:

NOTE: Google will take a look at your insurance blog and if it appears to be “under construction”, they just might refuse to open an account for you. So, please have the 2 posts in 4 categories before applying for a Google AdSense account.

Once you complete all the necessary information, it will take Google from 5 to 7 days to get your account set up and notify you by e-mail.

While you are waiting for Google’s reply, you can be working on posts to your insurance blog.

That takes care of the first step in working with Google AdSense.

SUGGESTION: This is your insurance blog and you certainly have the privilege of designing it any way you want it, but along the way I will just make some suggestions like this one.
When you first log-in to your Google AdSense account, it may appear to be overwhelming. There’s a lot of stuff there. Until you get familiar with working with the ads, you may want to focus on just two types of ads - “Ads for Content” and “Ads for Search”.
