The addition of Google AdSense Ads to your insurance blog will make it productive in generating income. The “Help” section of your AdSense account has volumes of information as far as, what type of ads are most popular, where to place the ads on the page, etc. We aren’t going to get into all of that here. Our goal is to place an AdSense ad on your blog page.

Just as the name implies, a Google AdSense “Content” ad on your insurance blog will be a paid advertisement relating to your insurance blog theme or individual blog page. At first, you may see ads that have nothing to do with your blog theme, but once Google understands what your insurance blog is about they will change. Let’s set up a “Content” ad.

Some of these insurance blogs are professionally designed and are enjoyable to read, while others seem to have been designed as an afterthought. The computer guys and gals call this Search Engine Optimization or SEO, but “tell the world” is a lot easier for me, since I’m not really a computer guy. We will look at some ways you can promote your insurance blog, but right now there is probably nothing to promote. Search engines and blog directories do not like blogs “under construction”, so let’s focus on 2 blog posts in 4 blog categories.

Google AdSense is an excellent way to generate income from your insurance blog. There are those who make excellent incomes from this program, but they have many web sites and blogs displaying the ads. You should not be concerned with Adsense until you have at least 2 posts in each of 4 categories. Working with AdSense is not that complicated, but there is a “process”.
